PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Hello Kiwanis Family,

It’s an absolute joy to serve as President of the Kiwanis Club of Santa Ana! As someone who grew up in this community, it’s especially meaningful for me to give back through a club that has served Santa Ana for over 100 years. Our mission is simple but powerful: to make a difference in the lives of children and families—one project, one act of service, and one connection at a time.

This year, I’m excited to focus on three things that I believe will help us grow stronger together:

Engaging our members,
Retaining our members, and most importantly,
Having fun while we serve.

Inspired by Rule Number 6 from The Art of Possibility—Don’t take yourself so seriously!—I hope we’ll bring a sense of joy and community into everything we do.

At Kiwanis, every member brings something unique to the table. Whether you’re volunteering at a reading corner, helping send students on a fishing trip, cheering on bowlers at our special needs event, or helping coordinate scholarships for deserving local students—you are making a real difference. And when we do these things together, not only do we serve better, but we also build friendships and memories that last a lifetime.

We are proud of the impact we’ve made through projects like our George Upton All Access Park, Target holiday shopping excursions, Fish for Life, adaptive tennis events, and so many more. But we’re just getting started.

The Club Membership fee is $300 a year due every October. If a new member joins the Club during the year, there is a discount offered depending on the month of joining. See diagram.
